Workshop - ”The Bert Series” by suecsit

Sara welcomes veteran writer suecsit to the show to discuss her 2018 work, "The Bert Series," serialized into 14 individual stories, and one of the first ever in the Cobra Kai fandom to fully explore the 'LawRusso' pairing. The series is incredibly well written, vivid in both voice and dialogue, the prose is lovely, and delves into the themes of choice, control, and connection. It's a truly beautiful work. 

Sara and suecsit also discuss the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on her writing; suecsit's recent love affair with the Beatles, Paul McCartney, Queen, and other music of the 1970s; and her recent work featuring the characters of Demetri and Eli/Hawk.
