Interview with provocative_envy aka Andrea Anderson PART ONE

IT'S A TWO-FER!

Sara sits down with professional author Andrea Anderson, who also writes fanfiction under the pen name provocative_envy. In Part One, Andrea talks about early writing (total and complete creative freedom! Wearing black! Missing the subtext in Sylvia Plath!), her work in fanfiction digging into the least explored characters in the Harry Potter universe, and how that bridged her into writing her own original fiction. 

We discuss her published novel, “Light as a Feather” which you can purchase here (I did, it’s the perfect summer read!) And dig into the nitty gritty of outlining, structure, pacing, and how to “write like you’re going somewhere.” 

We also compare chubby indoor cats with poor jumping skills, to “unambitious Slytherins.” Also we may have had a drink or two.
