4: Tilting Your Traditions with Carrie Dodson

I can’t wait for you to learn from my precious and gracious friend, Carrie Dodson this week on episode 4 of the Talk with Tori podcast! 

Carrie is compassionate, creative, and the queen of all things hosting, parties, and traditions!   She lives and works in Nashville, TN at LifeWay and is a true family girl with unwavering faith. We chat about Disney, turning 30, working in the pandemic, travel, favorite holidays, The Bachelor, brothers, Schitts Creek, books (check out her reading reviews list), and all things about cooking and hosting.  

Carrie gives great insight on pivoting family traditions when life changes unexpectedly, while also keeping many traditions alive in a new space with new people.  She shares her story about how the world she knew changed in a way she never expected, but she has still been able to keep the joy and remind us that new memories are not always a bad thing.  This is so encouraging in a season where so many things we have done for holidays and celebrations year after year must be adjusted.  She is filled with so much knowledge and goodness about hope.  She inspires everyone to have the courage and confidence to open our space to create community and to welcome imperfections in our home.  She is filled with incredible tips on how to make hosting easy, special, simple, and FUN.
