Michael Gilbert (Flotsam and Jetsam)

Flotsam and Jetsam have returned with a killer new record, Blood in the Water. Michael Gilbert joins Joshua Toomey and Talk Toomey to discuss the upward trajectory of the band, Eric's vocals continuing to get better and the process of recording their home studios. Michael also talks about being able to fine tune the record throughout the pandemic and getting back to Europe for touring. Joshua and Michael also reflect on Metallica's Black Album and Jason Newsted helping a 17 year old Michael in the early days of Flotsam and Jetsam with club owners. The guys also talk Michael watching Korn blow up on one if their tours together. Michael also gives his opinion on paid meet and greets and Toomey talks about the missed opportunity to pay $25 to meet Ace Frehley.
