The PAC12 is Dead. Long Live the PAC12

On today's episode, the PAC12 fell apart within a span of 48 hours after six more schools departed from the Conference after the Conference didn't present a viable television contract. We discuss the 30+ year journey of how we got to this point, from 1990s/2010s/2020s College Football Realignment, television contracts becoming a primary source of revenue, the PAC12 Network, Texas Longhorns, the BIG10 being ahead of the curve on TV Contracts and revenue, leading up to USC and UCLA leaving for the BIG10 one year ago, while the BIG12 pivoted to creating a 16 team conference with a middle class TV contract and revenue for College Football teams. All of this culminating with Oregon and Washington leaving for the BIG10 and Arizona making the leap to the BIG12, leaving Arizona State and Utah no realistic option except to follow them
