Alex Thompson and I spoke about his life, career, his travels, and the reason he founded, Legaroo, a law firm that aims to help travellers worldwide.
Alex spoke to me about his early stages, where his passion for travel started. He was sent off to Canada at 17 years old to study for a year, where his curiosity for wanting to see the world first started.
I went into detail about Legaroo, based in Costa Rica, where he is the Founder and CEO, and spoke to Alex about what the company can do to help people who get into trouble on their travels. Alex pointed out that a lot of the time when you take out travel insurance, you don't necessarily have legal cover. This is where they would come in with their service. Nearing nearly 100 countries with lawyers representing the company, it has become a firm that has grown exponentially in the last year.

Alex, when he is not working or travelling, loves to read and play tennis.
