In this episode, I spoke to Journalist & Broadcaster, Sade. Our main topic of discussion surrounded her documentary, which was about the 60th Anniversary of Sierra Leone's independence.
We talked first about Sade's education, growing up in England, and how she first fell in love with travel. We discussed her early visits to Sierra Leone as well. I also talked about her beginnings as a journalist and how tough it was to break into the field.
I then delved into why she felt it was important to film a documentary about Sierra Leone's 60th independence anniversary and what impact she hoped it would leave on people in Sierra Leone and around the world. You will see what it took for her to get the project off the ground.
I asked Sade what goals she has next after completing the documentary and whether she has other ambitions outside of making documentaries. I also talked to her about whether it's tough to leave England behind and whether she has found it easy to settle in Sierra Leone.
You will also find out what hobbies she has outside of her work and travel.
It was a pleasure to talk to Sade, and I look forward to seeing where she ends up next on her journey.
