Today I want to start with just the facts. I will share with you some statistics that show why the things we are facing have bubbled over and people are angry. These numbers are not just cerebral but I want you to see them as actual people who are facing the struggle. Imagine being a black kid growing up and facing the problem that 1 out of every 3 black males will end up in prison. How much hope would you have for a better life? Let's continue to learn about the problem, so that we can better understand how to speak out.
