In lieu of playing a game that celebrates the colonial heritage of the holiday, we wanted to play a game created by an indigenous creator to give them the spotlight they deserve.
Los Arboles is a horror RPG by Mercedes Cibby Acosta about being lost in the woods that can be completed in a couple hours or less. It requires a standard playing card deck and 2-4 players.
CONTENT WARNINGS: there are strong mentions and discussions of suicide, forced family separation, terminal illness and death of a loved one, parental abuse, and blood and bodily harm among other things
