Prayer is an essential part of the life of a believer and when prayer efforts can be combined toward a singular focus at the same time, the result is truly powerful.
Japan caught the attention of Alabama Baptist leaders earlier this year because of the Olympics. Scotty Goldman and Matt Burford from the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions even traveled to Japan to visit with our missionary teams and organize ways we could help them during the Olympics. But suddenly all of that changed with COVID-19. And while the Olympics were rescheduled for 2021, the compassion and concern for the people of Japan remains.
The plan for the 30 days of prayer for Japan will continue on schedule June 25–July 24. Goldman and Burford share the details and interesting information about Japan with co-hosts Jennifer Rash and Debbie Campbell on this week’s TAB Talks.
