Movie Cocktail is Back!
This month's Patreon selected theme was 'Paranormal Horror Movies'. We each nominated a film, Poltergeist, The Ring, and The Exorcist didn't quite make the cut on our Twitter poll. The winner, by a landslide, was the 1980 classic horror movie The Shining. Written by Stephen King, Directed by Stanley Kubrick, and starring Shelly Duvall and Jack Nicholson. 
It was Rob's turn to make the themed cocktail this month and he came up with a surprisingly light and refreshing drink for you to suck down while you watch The Shining.
REDRUM #237
-1/2oz Overproof White Rum
-1oz Raspberry Vodka
-Top with Cranberry Ginger Ale
-Serve with Frozen Raspberries and Cranberries (instead of ice).
If you can. Make the cocktail and enjoy while you watch.
In our discussion we talk about the crazy perfectionism of Kubrick. The abuse of Shelly Duvall. The painstaking efforts that went into to filming The Shining. And of course Stephen King's distain for the movie.
