For the 2nd Session, Alex & Joel dive straight into Early Adopter with a pair of very different Nintendo Switch demos. Alex gives additional feedback on his time streaming the Spellbreaker alpha. After side-stepping hairy PR self-harm news, the Backlog Blog includes Alex caving to Destiny 2 peer pressure and comparing/contrasting Yoshi’s Crafted World’s demo to Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island. Joel admits being a little too hard on Final Fantasy IX after a fork in the story arc and discovering get-out-of-backtracking free cards, then describes why Mutant Football League is the best, closest thing you’ll get to a current NFL Blitz facsimile.
