12-02-18: Toy N Joy, great opportunity to make the holidays joyous for most people

"Toy n Joy" i-- a great annual event where 2 great community entities join forces to create an opportunity for all of us to partner with them, and help create a more joyous season for families facing challenges. Captain Lisa Barnes from the Salvation Army, and Hannah Kubiak, Communications Manager with Bartells, represent their organizations, telling us of happy experiences families have had as a result of Toy N Joy. We are invited to donate unwrapped gifts, gift cards, and make monetary donations that will be used to support local families in need. And one other great opportunity is to volunteer as a bell ringer for the Salvation Army. There's always a need for more helping hands, and could be a great way to come out as a family, or work group, for a day of supporting the work of the Salvation Army. These donations help the 'Army' do the work they do throughout the year. Gifts can be dropped off at any Bartells location. 206-767-3150
