Tasha Hunter, MSW, LCSW says that the first language ever she learned was pain.

Growing up in a mentally, physically, and sexually abusive home, all Tasha ever heard was that she was worthless, unloved, and unwanted.

In this episode, Tasha talks about how her traumatic childhood led to her first serious attempt at suicide, how that attempt impacted her life, and her journey to become a clinician that helps others heal from trauma like hers.
