The road to success isn't a straight one. Establishing firm boundaries. Investing in yourself. Bringing in a mentor. Creating a network of like-minded people to be around.

As a 5’11” introverted woman, raised in an ultra-conservative small town in Indiana, Amber was meant to stand out. She was divorced at the age of 28 and ended up homeless for a short period of time after that. Amber, with the help of friends, pulled herself up, dusted herself off, and started her 2nd business: Powers Digital Marketing. After organically growing her Facebook Group to over 18k women, she found herself shopping online at one of the largest online retailers. Mid-boredom shopping, she asked herself why she wasn’t shopping from the women in her group. The answer was that there was no easy way to do so. And so, Shop From Her Directory was born. Shop From Her is a way for online buyers to STOP and consciously make a decision to shop from a woman-owned business and a platform that provides free and affordable resources for business owners.
