The Settle United AFC official (with unofficial bits) #SUAFC podcast brought to you on all good channels.

We catch up with reserve team joint manager Al Smith, a man who is getting on a bit now but has been around the club for 18 years now. He tells us his memorable moments, thoughts on the Craven football league and his hopes for the reserve team this season.

Settle United Association Football Club was founded in 1884 and our team played their first football games at the ground we play at today, Bridge End. The ground is seen by many as one of the most awe-inspiring and beautiful there are in the United Kingdom; the River Ribble curves it’s way around the pitch and we have a picturesque backdrop to the pitch with the Settle to Carlisle railway line overlooking us, as well as the rolling hills of the Yorkshire Dales (Settle Loop walk) too.
