The Next TU Presidential Lecture Will Soon Be Given by Dr. Alfredo Quiñones-Hinojosa

Dr. Quiñones-Hinojosa, known to many as simply Dr. Q, grew up extremely poor in a rural Mexican village before he -- while still a teenager -- climbed over an 18-foot fence in order to enter California. Once there, he worked very hard...at various jobs...until finally he was able to enroll as a medical student at Harvard. Today, Dr. Q is seen as one of the world's finest brain surgeons, operating on hundreds of people every year while also serving as the neurosurgery chair at the Mayo Clinic in Florida.
