Tucked away in a beautiful southeastern part of North Carolina resides the largest Native American Tribe east of the Mississippi, the strong-willed, and resilient original southerners, the Lumbee tribe. During the racially charged era of Jim Crow, the Tribe was confronted by a hate group seeking to scare them, and run them off their land, but they grossly underestimated them.
