January 10, 2013, Kendrick Johnson gets up, gets dressed and arrives at school as usual, he's a student at Lowndes High School in Valdosta Georgia. Kendrick’s morning goes smoothly and without instance, but then when it is time for Kendrick to be in his third block class, a weightlifting class, he is a no show, Kendrick is marked absent. That night around 10pm Kendrick's mom started to get worried, her son should have been home by now, and he had not texted to say he was going to be late, something very unusual for him. That night Jackie and Kenneth Johnson hopped in their car and drove back and forth from the school to their home, taking every route they could think of, looking for any sign of their son, making calls and asking friends, but no one knew where he was...and where they found him, would shock and confuse everyone.
