When two-year-old Crystal Robertson was found wandering alone outside of a K-mart in Spanaway Washington, in a catatonic state, in mid-December of 1985, police immediately suspected something was seriously wrong. When she is finally found by her grandmother, and asked where her parents have gone the only thing the little girl could say was ‘mommy is in the trees’, and a search was launched immediately, and what they found led police to think that a serial killer was working in the area!
