It was 1985 and Canada's answer to the Beatles, Platinum Blonde had released their monster of hit album "Alien Shores".
I had all their posters along with many other Canadian band posters on my wall among my hockey posters of course. I was 16 years old and besides hockey, I was in a band. I dreamed of being a Rockstar and playing in the NHL. Ah, I boy could dream! I knew everything there was to know about Platinum Blonde. If that was a subject in High School I would have aced it!
