We talk to Desmond Child - Legendary songwriter and producer. It goes without saying that Desmond Child wrote some of the most iconic rock radio hits of the past few decades. From early days in the late 70s and mid 80s working with KISS, Bon Jovi and Aerosmith, this icon of popular music continues to this very day to be the go to songsmith when it comes to the huge chorus and monstrous melodic hook. On the eve of the release of his new autobiography 'Livin on a Prayer - Big Songs Big Life' Desmond traces his path from a struggling childhood in Florida, moving to New York and the life changing encounters which would shape him into the Hitmaker to the Stars he became and will always been known for.
