Michael Geist is a law professor at the University of Ottawa where he holds The Canada Research Chair in Internet and E-Commerce Law. He is also a privacy and internet advocate who has received many awards, including being appointed to the Order of Ontario 2018.

Today he tells us about some of the necessary privacy and data trade-offs we need to make during COVID-19 and the safeguards to make sure they do not become a slippery slope in the future(we even talk a little Black Mirror).
