In Episode Five, the penultimate episode of Lotus, Naomi further alienates Daniel, who is at a loss and shocked when he sees how rapidly Naomi is deteriorating. She realizes her addiction could have lethal consequences but that knowledge does little to slow her consumption. As a matter of fact, the flowers that are the most dangerous, are the most intoxicating.
