Chris has 13 years of sobriety and has quite a journey. He has a passion for music and was part of a band for a long time. This lifestyle got him into trouble with alcohol and drugs but the same environment ultimately helped in his recovery as well. After treatment, his band members showed great support and respect of Chris’s situation which allowed him to continue to do what he loved to do. In our time together on the podcast Chris talks about his journey through life which has ultimately resulted in a life of long term recovery. He has worked in the addiction field and has a masters degree in social work. Ultimately, he ended up back in the space he truly loves…music. Chris started a record label where he promotes and manages many artists on the quest for success in the music industry. A big part of his philosophy with his organization is charitable giving. He helps many people with his involvement in the recovery community.
