Godzilla (1954 Film)

Hello everyone, Today I talk about the 1954 Kaiju film classic Godzilla. Godzilla is a movie about a large dinosaur-like creature who lays waste to Japan and the fishing industry. Later in the movie, it is found out that the enormous creature was from radiation fallout from Nuclear testing in Japan. After Godzilla attacks Tokyo for the final time a Japanese scientist formulates a plan to kill it with the oxygen destroyer which chokes the oxygen out of the water later killing Godzilla and probably a lot of fish. Godzilla would later become a household name after this movie spawning a franchise that is still going strong today. An Americanized version of the film would be released in 1956 called King of the Monsters.
