Dr Brendan Minihan - SAU 43 - 8-20-2021

Dr Brendan Minihan, Superintendent of SAU 43, is on discussing the Newport School Board meeting Thursday's adoption of the mask requirements.  Dr Minihan  explains how masks are optional at the Newport School District, depending on the amount of transmission in each school.  The School Board dropped the community transmission requirement in the matrix and will now only focus on school related coronavirus rates.  We talked about how the Federal Government mandates masks on busses, free breakfast and lunch again for this school year, a closer return to normal, renovations of the Field Hockey and new Football practice field, going back to school and more.
