Wayne Pacelle, President/CEO Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) is a longtime friend. And rarely – but it happens – adversary, as we may each be on the opposite side of an animal welfare issue. Still, I have ENORMOUS respect for this guy, and how he has helped to move a nation forward – not only regarding companion animals, but arguably even more so involving farm animals, performing animals and lab animals, and also wildlife.

His most recent book is about doing the right thing, and if you do you may actually benefit (and our nation benefits), called “The Humane Economy 2.0: How Innovators and Enlightened Consumers Are Transforming the Lives of Animals.”

Wayne and the HSUS has their share of detractors – but are they really complaining about a stance the HSUS truly takes? I ask Wayne some tough questions here. I don’t believe this is a softball interview. You decide.
