Meili talks about the Meow Meet Up–where people who love cats can finally get together in one place. Her inspiration started because “there wasn’t any [events like this] in the Midwest, and cats have taken over the internet. Being based in Chicago, the next thing we had to do was provide a venue for people who didn’t have Throughout the weekend, Meili says there will be veterinarians as keynote speakers, adoption opportunities and tips for owners to make your home more cat friendly. On Saturday, an after party will be held at Bub City. There will be a cat themed menu with ‘kitty’ cocktails. People can also register for events like kitty yoga.
