Angélique Marguerite Le Bousier du Coudray was a midwife in 18th century France. She traveled the country for 30 years, teaching women and men how to properly and safely deliver babies. Despite her huge contribution to the country, not much is known about her personal life, but the mystery seems to only add to our fascination!
