Yue She, former visiting scholar in the Stein lab, discussed the results of two studies investigating the effects of feeding high protein canola meal to pigs. The objective of the first study was to determine the ATTD and STTD of phosphorus in high protein canola meal fed to growing pigs. The second study was conducted to determine the optimum inclusion rate of high protein and conventional canola meal in diets fed to weanling pigs.
