Diego Rodriguez, a research specialist in the Stein Monogastric Nutrition Laboratory, presents the results of two experiments designed to compare digestibility of amino acids and concentrations of metabolizable and net energy in two soybean products: 1) soybean expeller produced using a high-shear dry extrusion process prior to pressing; and 2) conventional solvent-extracted soybean meal.
