Cristhiam Munoz, a recent Master's degree recipient, provides an update on the Stein Monogastric Nutrition Lab's calorimetric unit, which was designed to calculate total and fasting heat production in order to determine net energy in complete diets and feed ingredients fed to pigs under commercial conditions.
