Two horny teenage boys meet a hot woman, invent a magical beach, and take her on a zany road trip while an omniscient narrator does his best to bum you out. We talked through Alfonso Cuarón's exploration of being a horny teenager in Mexico while the world around you is in political turmoil, cops are beating the s**t out of people, and the specter of death looms around every corner, but all you really care about is getting laid.
