I've always liked to learn about how to be a better parent. There is no right or wrong way. We are all different and so are our children but that doesn't mean we can't have a discussion with experts about what might work in certain situations.

The situation we find ourselves in now is unlike anything any of us has ever been through so I'll take all of the help I can get.  Eric Segall is a Constitutional law scholar not a psychologist but he shared his thoughts in an essay at DorfOn Law.org titled "Parenting in the Age of the Coronavirus"  which inspired this 2 part series early in our isolation.

I started the conversation with him then invited Dr Patricia Haynes and Dr Adelia Moore on as well.

Dr  Haynes  of the University of Arizona is an Associate Professor in Health Promotion Sciences and a licensed clinical psychologist with an expertise in sleep psychology, depression and anxiety, and intervention research. She contributed to toolkit for parenting through the pandemic

Dr Adelia Moore is a clinical psychologist and author of Being the Grownup: Love, Limits, and the Natural Authority of Parenthood

She was also a guest on Mister Rogers Neighborhood
