The Importance of Upper Airway Endoscopy in the Sales Yearling with Dr Scott Pierce Part 2
We continue the discussion on the grading of a sales yearling’s airway and why a consistent scoring system is needed. The grading of airways is to a large degree subjective with differing opinions on the same airway being very common. Returning guest Dr. Scott Pierce explains the differences between airway grades, the difficulties of comparing scores between examiners, the performance levels of different grades, and some of the reasons why a horse may scope differently with repeated examinations.
