In 2003, 14-year-old Jodi Jones was murdered near her home in Easthouses in Central Scotland. Suspicion quickly fell to her boyfriend, Luke Mitchell. Mitchell had found Jones's body in the woods, had written some concerning essays in his high school classes, and was found to be in possession of a knife with a strange inscription on the sheath. The largely circumstantial case against him went ahead and he was convicted and sentenced to a minimum of 20 years in prison.
