Last year was a total and bitter disaster for the NY Giants with the benching of a possible Hall of Famer, Eli Manning, the receivibg corps decemated by injuries and veteran Gino Smit  getting the nod in Oakland. The head coach was fired from an 11-5 previous season and the GM was let go as well. The whole scenario was a total disater. Now with the receiving corp back, Eli getting the starting nod, Pat Shurmur the new coach and Dave Gettleman the new GM.
