One trade or acquisition can turn an NBA franchise totally around. Take the Lakers for example. They have  a winning record despite having a young team with the addition of LeBron James has definately changed the complexion of the club. The surprise team however are the LA Clippers who without stars , have found themselves on top of the NBA Pacific Division even without former stars like Blake Griffin.
