There were many aspects of the game of baseball from it's creation to now. There was the so called " DeadBall Era" where home runs were limited. There was the Steroid Era, the Shift Era to name a few. While the game is still for the most part played the same way as it was for over a century, there are those in the game that feel the game has changed to the point of non watchability. Disgusted with how the game has turned out, MLB  lifers decry the state of the game and have voiced their disapproval to anyone who will listen.
