There were the glory teams. The Boston Celtic, the Montral Candiens, the Green Bay Packers. With the end of the reserve clause in sports do teams still have identity. There use to be something magical about the aura of certain teams like the Packers and the Celtics. Teams had identity because they first, did NOT make the money they are making today as a result of the free agency market and the collective bargaining agreement.
