John Spoulos is a 47 year teacher of music at the Ocean Conservatory of Music in NJ. Upon his many years of expertise, he has taught Zakke Wilde of Ozzy Osbourne fame, Dave Sabo of the successful band "Skid Row as well as two Grammy nominated artists. In addition, he has taught hundreds of performers and has had hundreds of music scholarships for students furthering their careers at the college level. In his lecture series, we will show how the music of Mozart, music in general and music lessons enhance the achievement aspects of the brain. Studies have shown that music does indeed correlate to better grades, more concentration and, better scholastic development in the long run. This lecture is based on many factors and years of teaching as well as experiments into all aspects of musical endeavor and the brain.
