Without Ben Simmons, the Philadelphia Sixers found a way to beat the Houston Rockets after blowing a 29 point lead. Joel Embiid had a slow start, but finished with 31 points after an explosive second half. Matisse Thybulle made John Wall earn every inch he had, specifically in the first half. Seth Curry and Danny Green had strong stretches at times. 11 3s were made in the first half for the 76ers, but only finished with 12. They were outscored in the 3rd and 4th quarters. Basically, they took their foot off the gas.
