The first half of this podcast: The Phillies owner, John Middleton, is taking time deciding if he should fire Gabe Kapler or not. According to Jayson Stark, it seems like the news will not be out until next week. I see this as a positive. Middleton is looking around the organization, to guys he can trust, and asking questions on how the season went with Kap. Matt Klentak is clearly in favor of bringing him back and if Middleton needs to jump over his GM, well, then there is a problem there as well.
The second half of this podcast: The Philadelphia Flyers season starts tomorrow, Friday, against the Blackhawks in another country. I have expectations for this team to be in the playoffs behind Alain Vigneault, Carter Hart, Claude Giroux, Jakub Voracek, JVR, Kevin Hayes, and more.
