The Philadelphia Flyers lose 4-3 to the Pittsburgh Penguins to lose 2 of 3 in their mini series. The Flyers took the lead early with a beautiful 2-on-0 by Scott Laughton and Travis Konecny. From there, that period was miserable and they allowed 2 powerplay goals. In the second, Kevin Hayes and Shayne Gostisbehere scored before Aston Reese netted one on a weird angle to get the puck past Brian Elliott. Jared McCann got the game winning goal late in the third on a far pad shot during a bad Flyers line change.
