The Philadelphia Eagles take on the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football for first place in the NFC East. I ask the question, who has more pressure on them to win the game? This is essentially a battle between 2 struggling teams right now and something has to give. Doug Pederson, Carson Wentz, and this offense has no rhythm, but the Cowboys defense hasn't been the best. On the other hand, the Eagles corners have been the worst in the football and that's going to play a factor. Since the Cowboys are playing Amari Cooper, their tackles, and some other banged up players, it smells like desperation move to me. They know how important this game is. Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliot, Jason Garrett, and the Cowboys know they can't lose 4 straight. They just can't.
The Philadelphia Flyers lose to the Dallas Stars by a score of 4-1. This is now their fourth straight loss. Even though they out shot the Stars 39-16, there was not enough scoring chances since majority of pucks thrown on net were from the outside. The Flyers scored one minute into the game with a beautiful passing sequence from Claude Giroux, Travis Konecny, and Sean Couturier, but from there it was quiet. Carter Hart had a weaker game while Ben Bishop was phenomenal. Corey Perry recorded three point for the desperate Stars looking for their second win.
