Sonny Gray is back on the mound throwing BP

Tom Ackerman fills in for Matt Pauley, and in the first hour of the show, shares the news that Cardinals pitcher Sonny Gray is recovering quickly through his hamstring strain and was back on the mound throwing a bullpen session today. Tom then features his interview with utiltyman Brendan Donovan who dives into his game and his support for veterans through the organization Team Red, White, and Blue. Also featured is Tom’s interview with President of Baseball Operations John Mozeliak, who speaks on Gray, as well as Lance Lynn’s performance, competition in the bullpen, and more.
