Tags. While the deadline for teams to administer franchise or transition tags is March 6 at 4 PM ET, the window for doing so opened this past Tuesday February 20. And in stark contrast to traditional tagging practices, the Miami Dolphins placed the franchise tag on WR Jarvis Landry on Tuesday.
