College Basketball Capping with Ralph Michaels January 18, 2018

On the Thursday January 18 edition of BangTheBook Radio, host Adam Burke was joined by professional handicapper Ralph Michaels of WagerTalk.com to talk NFL playoffs and college basketball. The primary focus of this segment was college hoops, but the guys did discuss the two Conference Championship Games coming up this weekend, as Adam continued to crowdsource opinions on the games.

The guys talked about some of the differences between handicapping the NBA and college basketball, including some very interesting notes from Ralph on what he’s found that works well in the NBA this season. On the college hoops side, Adam and Ralph took a detailed look at Wichita State after last night’s first AAC loss to see if this is a sign of things to come or just one of those days. They also hit on the ACC to see who stands out in that league and then took a look at the Atlantic-10 Conference, which is shaping up to be a one-bid league. Ralph shared free best bets for Thursday and Saturday’s college hoops cards to wrap things up.
