Influencer (2023): "Not A Girl's Girl"

Can you be a girl's girl if you're killing other girls? Are we the ones not standing in feminine solidarity when we try to bring down a girl boss whose passion just so happens to be serial killing? These are the important philosophical questions we must ask ourselves on the Influencer (2023) episode of Spooky Tuesday. A Shudder exclusive that didn't make nearly as much of a splash as it deserved, this horror movie is as fun as it is gorgeous. It also just so happens to be Chelsea's birthday pick, so while we could pitch you on how it lays the groundwork for buying Girl Scout cookies as praxis, we'll probably just sit back, celebrate, and see if we can't find any of last season's Thin Mints hiding in the unexplored depths of our freezers.
